{ Chick - fil- A Girlfriend }

Several months ago Jett and I went to Chick-fil-A and Jett played on the little indoor playground. While we were there, I met a little girl with big brown eyes and golden brown hair who was very talkative. She told me she liked Jett's hair, liked his name, and thought he was cute. Oh. My.

He didn't play with her much that day, but a few weeks ago we went back and there she was. She came up to me and told me she remembered me and she even remembered Jett's name. Miss "M" was a chatty Cathy and I soaked it up...it's not often I get to really talk to little girls except through my photography sessions. She said she didn't think Jett liked her. I told her she needed to go play with him and she said he was too fast for her. Meaning he moved around the playground at a quick speed.

Eventually, Jett came over and I told him that she liked him. They began playing together and towards the end he was calling her his "girlfriend". She pretended to not like it, but the smile on her face told another story. Neither one of them wanted to leave each other, but well I had about all I could stand of the confined quarters with screaming children so we had to leave. They gave each other a hug and said goodbye.

I wonder if that will be the last time they see each other...I hope not. I was quite fond of the doe-eyed, bubbly little girl....Jett's Chick-fil-A girlfriend.

{ Happy Anniversary To Us! }

Eight years ago today Eric and I made the best decision of our lives. We married each other and we are both better people because of it. God has truly blessed us.

{ Graduation Clips }

WARNING: These videos are NOT professional. I will never be a videographer. I will stick with photography!

The first clip the kids recite a poem about what they will be when the grow up. You have to watch a bit before it gets to Jett's part....

And if you did not understand (he was nervous), this is what he said:

"When I grow up I'll be a spy,

I'll be an agent and have lots of cool gadgets,

Who knows...

I may even fly."

Below are two clips of the song "I Wanna Be A Dog". It is tooo cute. I tried to find the words to the song, but couldn't find the exact ones that they sang.

I'll try to post some pics later!

{ Graduation }

Jett will have his kindergarten graduation on Friday, May 15th at 6:30 in the Georgia Christian School Gym. I am so excited, happy, a little sad (he's growing up and he is not going back there next year), and anxious for that day. I know there will be many tears shed...so kleenex will probably be my best friend that night. We would love all our friends and family that can come to please come see his graduation. It is not your "typical" graduation. They have a pirate theme this year. The children will sing songs, recite Bible verses, and there will be a slideshow (that's where the crying part will happen).

Let us know if you are coming so we can save you a seat!

For the ones who cannot come, I hope to be able to record the ceremony and will post some clips here on the blog.

{ We Are Getting There }

Jett has been having fun lately in his Grandma and Papa Bill's pool! He is getting a bit braver and we are so proud!

Here are some clips.

{ Happy Mother's Day! }

I searched for the perfect Mother's Day poem
And I just could not find one that could put into words how special my mama is to me.
I may never find the perfect poem because you see...it's hard to find one that is as wonderful as she.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's in my life! You are all so special to me! I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!

{ Pour All The Love Out Of Me }

I had to share something Jett recently said.

"I'm going to pour all the love out of me and help you clean out the car, Mama."
